Working with Mr. Reeves
I work with students in two ways: hourly and comprehensively. What should you choose?
Hourly work is just what it sounds like. Families purchase time to use however they want on any task the student needs.
Benefits of hourly service:
Potential lower overall costs
Pick and choose your moments for support
Comprehensive students enjoy the benefit of unlimited, guided, intentional support as they navigate the college admission process.
Benefits of comprehensive service:
Students have a dedicated college counselor
Communicate via text and email outside business hours
Individualized plan based on student needs
Unlimited time and meetings from beginning to end
Line by line college application and essay support without counting minutes
Intentional, thoughtful approach to list building (more work on the front end)
Deeper connection and relationship leads to more insightful guidance
Still undecided? Here’s a great example:
Let’s say you’re working on the Common Application. If you are hourly, I’ll show you what to work on, then won’t waste your minutes on simple things like name, address, and school information. If you are comprehensive, I’ll sit with you while you work regardless. In the long run, you’ll go a little quicker with live help; however, for my hourly students, I want to be super efficient with our face to face time.
